Council Subcommittees

To support the transparent, involved and coordinated governance of the school the council has set up four subcommittees chaired by a member of the council or an ex member of the council but including the school administration, teacher representation, PTN representation and interest members of the parent body. Much of the discussion on <strategy & finance>, <teaching and learning>, maintenance and upgrade of <facilities and grounds> and <public relations and outreach> are discussed at the subcommittee level and recommendations taken to the council for approval. This ensures that the decisions of the council are well considered by all stakeholders but also allow greater participation of all stakeholders and coordination of activities conducted in the interest of the school.   The council has also delegated the monitoring of the implementation of strategic actions from the <strategic plan> to these subcommittees. All decisions of the subcommittees will be vetted and approved by the council.
